It's Occupy, Swedish Bikini Team Style

'Upper-class safari' angers Stockholmers

The actual aim of the organizers however, is to debunk the myth of Sweden being a classless society and to highlight the gulf between the classes.

Spencer Barasch, the former head of enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Fort Worth office agreed to pay a $50,000 fine to settle claims he inappropriately represented fallen billionaire Allen Stanford.

The Justice Department accused Barasch of breaking federal conflict-of-interest laws in seeking to represent Stanford in legal matters after he left the SEC in 2005 and entered private practice.   Prosecutors claim that while at the SEC Barasch repeatedly stymied investigations into Stanford’s financial firm, which collapsed in 2009 amid allegations it was a $7 billion Ponzi scheme.

WMC's Amy Brandt - We Birth Shitty Fraud Loans.... with Love

As home values were starting to fall and subprime loan defaults were starting to rise across the industry in late 2006, Amy Brandt stepped down as WMC’s top executive. She told a trade publication that her contract with GE was ending and, rather than re-enlist, it was time for her “to move on.”

“This was really my baby, and I wanted to wrap up this era because I really love the company,” Brandt explained.

"I think the greatest amount of pain hasn't been felt yet," says Brandt. "I hope we can find a way to bring more liquidity to the market." Amy Brandt October 2007

Well now - that's just pure fucking genius, Amy.
