You Have to Wonder What the Rich are Saying to their Brokers Tonight

I'm of the opinion that this has little to do with Omnicron (what a fucking name, right?) and a lot to do with Jerome Powell. I used to call Janet Yellen and Ben Bernanke the "Helicopter Parents of Barack Obama" because come hell or high water, they were going to do whatever it took to keep Barry's recovery from the housing bubble burst going throughout his presidency. Like all helicopter parents, they run out of resources and/or patience. Jerome gets to pick between protecting the dollar (translation - the empire) and protecting the stock market. You can't have both at this point. On a side note, I filled up the truck on the way to a pheasant hunt in the Land of Lincoln. I fill up in Missouri. Illinois gas is special and has a special price.
