Let Them Eat $2,000 Worth of Cake

With head
....and not so much
Many homeowners will see reductions in the principal they owe on their mortgages. In California, those who endured foreclosure probably will see checks averaging $1,500 to $2,000.

"It's not going to solve the problem," said the hairdresser, who along with four family members is trying to avoid eviction. "It's not going to make things right."
He bought it for $211,000 and by the time he was done borrowing on the shack he was a cool $500,000 in the hole on an underwater house. Yeah pal, $2,000 ain't gonna do you jack shit worth of good. You're fucked AND you're now well into your 60's. Stick a fork in it. You might want to set that $2,000 aside for burial costs so your remaining family isn't stuck with your mortuary bill.

California - land of fucking over-reaching, overly optimistic nut jobs and people who have NEVER seen a loan that they would not take.  A 61 year old hair dresser with a half a million dollar mortgage.... really?!?  What could possibly go fucking wrong?!?!?

  1. Come on, this is an easy fix. That $2k will buy a sweet, post-Super Bowl markdown, 55-inch flat screen.
